Barbie Birthday Cards
I cannot believe how quickly time has passed. I still think about what I want to do with my life, and yet I am already the grandmother of three. It seems like such a short time ago that I was planning for my birthday parties with my grandmother, and now I am doing the same thing with my grandchildren. We really do need to savor every second we have on earth because time speeds by faster every year.

I have had the great fortune to be working part time so I can spend time with her during the week when her mother is working. She asked me to help her plan her sixth birthday party. We went to a large paper supply store so we could pick up other things for the party as well. I could not believe the size of the section that was dedicated to Barbie. We found the Barbie birthday cards; in fact we had a difficult time choosing which one to send because the selection was so large. As we were looking over the merchandize a clerk came to see if we needed help. I told her that I could not believe the number of Barbie items that were available. She said that this was one of their best selling lines of decorations. She also showed me that they had Barbie balloons that you could have filled with helium for a balloon bouquet. My granddaughter was very excited about that. I found her a tiara that matches the one worn in the Barbie princess movie. I am going to give it to her on the day of the party so she can wear it for the day. It is such a blessing to be able to spend this precious time with her.
